UNI-CUE’s Academic Attainment Fund

This scholarship is a renewable scholarship to cover tuition and expenses that are not expected to be covered, up to $4000 per academic year. The application is open annually starting on October 1 until March 1. Funds are contingent upon discretion of the approval committee, as funds are available. 

Qualifications: Must be enrolled as a UNI-CUE TRIO participant or qualified UNI TRIO alumni, complete scholarship application, have a demonstrated need for the scholarship, provide academic release form, complete the required budget worksheet and complete the free FAFSA  application for federal student aid by March 1 or provide proof of FAFSA application. 

*To be considered for renewal, you must be in good standing with the academic institution and maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher. 

**A qualifying UNI TRIO participant requirement: 

• CUB  participants must be a graduating high school senior or a CUB alumni  no more than 2 years post high school graduation.
• ETS  participants must be a graduating high school senior or an ETS alumni  no more than 2 years post high school graduation.
• EOC participants must be enrolled a minimum of 30 days

AAF Mini Scholarships

These scholarships are available to current UNI TRIO participants or qualified UNI TRIO alumni that have demonstrated a barrier to continuing their educational endeavor up to $1,000 per academic year. The application is open year round to cover, but not limited to: Books, supplies, tuition costs, emergency & essential living expenses, child care and transportation. *One application per applicant per year will be considered for funding.  

Qualifications: Must be enrolled as a UNI-CUE TRIO Participant or qualified UNI TRIO alumni,  complete scholarship application, have a barrier to progressing toward completion of postsecondary degree or certification, provide documentation of need, be in good standing with enrolled academic institution, maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher, complete and academic information release form and complete a budget worksheet and complete the free FAFSA application for federal student aid by March 1st or provide proof of FAFSA application. 

**A qualifying UNI TRIO participant requirement: 

• CUB  participants must be a graduating high school senior or a CUB alumni  no more than 5  years post high school graduation.
• ETS  participants must be a graduating high school senior or an ETS alumni  no more than 5  years post high school graduation.
• EOC participants must be enrolled a minimum of 30 days
