Educational Talent Search staff members provide assistance to participants on an ongoing basis. Participants are involved with the program from the time of initial selection until enrolling in a post-secondary educational program.

Assistance can include:

• After-school tutorials/homework assistance
• Information on post-secondary education
• Advice and assistance in secondary school course selection
• Assistance in completing college admissions application and financial aid applications
• Assistance with locating and applying for scholarships
• Career exploration activities
• Study skills workshops
• Workshops for families of participants
• College admissions application fee deferments
• ACT/SAT fee waivers
• ACT test preparatory workshop
• Financial and economic literacy
• College campus tours
