Matthew Moore

Matthew Moore has been the Assistant Director for the UNI Classic Upward Bound TRIO Program since 2013. Prior to that he served as the Academic Coordinator beginning in 2012.

Mr. Moore provides academic, career, and personal advising for participants in the program to help foster the motivation to complete a rigorous college-prep course of study in high school and to enroll in and graduate from an institution of higher education. He primarily serves students at Waterloo West high and program juniors to help them prepare for college. 

Mr. Moore graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in secondary-history and social science teaching in 2009 and received his Master's Degree in American History, also from UNI. He has been married to Sarah since 2012 and has two children, Hazel and Elias.
