The TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program serves 140 students at the University of Northern Iowa who demonstrate academic need and are first-generation, low-income, or have a verified disability. The SSS program supports incoming students (both from high school and transfers) with the transition to the University of Northern Iowa through to graduation. All majors are welcome!
TRIO Student Support Services is a federally funded grant program through the U.S. Department of Education.
Who Can Participate in SSS?
Students at the University of Northern Iowa who demonstrate academic need and are first-generation, low-income, or have a verified disability. The program is primarily designed for students who are enrolled in one or more in-person classes for the semester. All majors are welcome!.
